An intriguing blended malt whiskey from Dublin's Pearse Lyons, made with a selection of malt whiskeys, including some which have been drawn from Pedro Ximénez casks. Bottled up at 44% ABV, with 888 bottles produced, this expression boasts a hefty helping of warming fruit richness alongside toasty spices and runny caramel.
It very much follows in the flavour footprints of our previously released 5-year single malt but with a new level of complexity. The use of rich PX Sherry casks in tandem with the inclusion of older sourced malt makes this a deliciously complex sipping whiskey.
Tasting Marriage of Malt.
Some whiskeys benefit from a drop of water to open them up and reveal their full potential, this whiskey benefits form allowing it to breath and open up to reveal its spectrum of flavour.
